Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic is a natural and holistic approach to health care that focuses on the balancing of the physical structures of the body. By aligning the spine and other joints, chiropractic can improve your nervous system function, reduce pain and inflammation, and enhance your mobility and well-being. Chiropractic treatments include gentle techniques using blocks, therapeutic instruments and muscle stretches to relax and correct your posture, as well as manual adjustments of your spine and other joints to restore their optimal position and movement.

Acupuncture is a form of Chinese medicine that utilizes small fine needles to stimulate the energy flow (called chi/qi) in the body. By inserting the needles at specific points along the meridians, acupuncture can regulate the balance of yin and yang, enhance the immune system, and promote the natural healing of the body. It has been utilized as a healing practice for thousands of years, and has been proven to be effective for various conditions, such as pain, stress, insomnia, and digestive disorders.

Manual Therapies

Manual therapy is a hands-on approach that focuses on muscles and other soft tissues of the body. It aims to improve blood circulation, reduce tension, and restore function and mobility. Therapies that can be utilized during these sessions include cupping, which creates suction on the skin to stimulate blood flow and relieve pain; muscle scraping, which uses a tool to scrape the skin and break up scar tissue and adhesions; facilitated stretching, which involves applying gentle pressure to help the muscles relax and lengthen; manual trigger point release, which targets specific knots or tight spots in the muscles that cause pain or discomfort; and rehabilitative exercise demonstrations, which show the patient how to perform exercises that can strengthen and stabilize the affected areas.
