What is an EndoPAT?
EndoPAT is the only FDA-cleared non-invasive assessment of endothelial dysfunction. Endothelial dysfunction is the earliest clinically detectable marker of vascular health. It is an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease and many other disease processes. Damage to the endothelium, the most inner layer of the blood vessels, plays a major role in the development of cardiovascular disease, the progress of it and eventually its outcomes. The EndoPAT is a 16 minute in-office test that utilizes finger probes and a blood pressure cuff to evaluate and score the health of the lining of the blood vessels.
Many leading researchers are now looking at endothelial dysfunction as the risk of all heart risk factors. Current conventional cardiovascular care is focused on stabilizing or slowing the progression of blood vessel damage. By focusing on the health of the endothelium earlier in life through assessment with EndoPAT and correlating treatment strategies, we can shift the paradigm to support true healing and improve the risk of all risks.
Indications for testing:
- Family history of cardiovascular disease
- Personal history of cardiovascular disease
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- Sleep apnea
- Stressful lifestyle
Schedule a 40-minute EndoPAT visit with one of our providers. During this in-person visit, you will undergo a non-invasive diagnostic test to assess the health of your blood vessels. After you complete your assessment, we will schedule a follow-up 30-minute appointment to go over the results with recommendations for best next steps based on your findings. The cost of the package includes the EndoPAT procedure and the consultation to go over the results.
