Dr. Troy Spurrill

Founder & Senior Chiropractic Associate


Dr. Troy is a leader in developing and implementing unique and powerful healing strategies. He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Manitoba and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University, and has extensive training in Functional Neurology, Nutrition, and Applied Kinesiology. Dr. Troy has dedicated his career to leading the charge in wellness, making Synapse an internationally known center for true health. Dr. Troy is an author, international lecturer on wellness and Brain Based healing, and founder of a revolutionary emotional wellness based product called the I-Perk.


    Dr. Amber Genetzky

    DC, DACNB, CVSMT - Chiropractic Associate


    Dr. Amber Genetzky has been a practicing chiropractor since 2007.  Her undergraduate degree in Biology was obtained from the University of Minnesota.  She spent a year at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine before being drawn to change her career path to chiropractic.  She graduated with honors from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2007.  She received her post-graduate training in functional neurology from the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, and she passed her boards to become a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in 2014.   She spent nine years working for the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community in Prior Lake where she was exposed to a wide variety of conditions and where she was honored to work side by side with healthcare providers from multiple disciplines.  She has been certified in and practicing acupuncture since 2007.  She was trained in animal chiropractic from The Healing Oasis in Wisconsin and has been practicing animal chiropractic since 2010.

    In addition to chiropractic and functional neurology, Dr. Amber worked as a professional ballet dancer for local Minnesota companies for 13 years, and after semi-retiring  in 2015, she remains active in the ballet world by sitting on the Saint Paul Ballet Board, and continuing to take classes and teach. She has acted as treating chiropractor for a number of professional and non-professional dancers in the Twin Cities area.   She is also a long distance runner and has completed full and half marathons.


      Chad Weed

      Licensed Massage Therapist & Rehabilitation


      Chad does both massage therapy and is responsible for the physical therapy aspect of care here at Synapse. He is trained in many different massage and rehabilitation techniques. When Chad is not at Synapse, he is spending time with his wife and two boys. He enjoys snowboarding with his oldest son and coaching both basketball and baseball. He also enjoys tae kwon do, pumping iron, and staying fit.


        Dr. Lance Brisky

        DC - Chiropractic Associate


        Dr. Lance Brisky has been a practicing chiropractor since 2012. He holds an undergraduate degree in Human Biology with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. He has practiced in multiple clinic settings in the Twin Cities for the last five years.

        In addition to his chiropractic work, Dr. Lance has served as an adjunct professor at three different colleges/universities. He has taught Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, and Nutrition classes for the last three years.

        When he is not helping people feel better and reach their health and wholeness potential, Dr. Lance enjoys officiating boys and girls high school basketball, and spending time with his family and neighborhood friends. Dr. Lance lives nearby in Eagan and is married with three children. He still tries to stay very active by playing basketball and softball.

        Dr. Lance believes functional medicine is a great way to help people to achieve their highest physical level. He enjoys treating whole families, as well as helping athletes of any age get back into action.


          Dr. Chad Harrison

          DC - Chiropractic Associate


          Dr. Chad Harrison received his Bachelors of Biology from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2002.   Dr. Chad is proficient in Applied Kinesiology and Functional Rehabilitation.  Dr. Chad may be familiar to some of you as he served in the Synapse Clinic several years ago.

          Dr. Chad enjoys helping patients in need of structural adjustments, and detoxification, as well as those suffering from stress, and gastrointestinal and stomach issues.  He is also adept and performing the Synapse method of NMR (or Clearings).  His passion and belief system for helping every individual reach their full potential is the driving force behind his career of serving patients.

          Dr. Chad is married, with two young daughters, that create a lot of joy and excitement in his life.  He also worked in missions for a few years during his absence from Synapse.  He enjoys the simplicity of life and educating himself, and others, on living life to the fullest: spirit-soul-body.


            Dr. Gretchen Keene

            DC - Chiropractic Associate


            Dr. Gretchen Keene recently graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University with a doctoral degree in chiropractic. She received her bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Gretchen grew up in Prescott, Wisconsin and learned about the benefits of chiropractic when she was a patient at Synapse as teenager. From a very young age she knew she wanted to be in the healthcare field and help people heal. She interned at many different clinics in the twin cities (including Synapse) and is happy to be back where her chiropractic journey started.

            Dr. Gretchen loves to help families grow through chiropractic and functional medicine. She likes to see patients that are children, women going through pregnancy and couples struggling with fertility. Dr. Gretchen loves spending time with her family, and is looking forward to meeting yours!


              Mary Beshara

              APRN


              Mary Beshara is a Clinical Nurse Specialist who has been practicing Nursing for 23 years and Advanced Nursing since 2002. She graduated from St. Olaf with her undergraduate degree and the University of Minnesota with her Advanced Practice Nursing degree with special studies through the Center for Spirituality and Healing. Mary is also certified in pain management, NADA protocol, essential oil therapy, herbal studies, reflexology, and integrative imagery. Mary’s passion is to help patients heal- body, mind, and spirit.

              Mary serves patients of all ages and gender who suffer from health issues including: hormonal imbalance, pain management, inflammatory diseases, chronic fatigue, and more.

              In her spare time, Mary enjoys kayaking, gardening, swimming, bike riding, and reading. She is married and has 3 adult children. She currently lives in Apple Valley, MN.
