What is Applied Kinesiology?

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis. It is used at each visit to assess imbalances and progress of the treatment plan. Applied Kinesiology is also utilized to test food reactions.

 

What is the purpose of Applied Kinesiology and are there any contraindications for this treatment?

The purpose of Applied Kinesiology is to gain insight into communication breakdown in the body. Applied Kinesiology is a key component that allows us to get a complete head-to-toe picture of your health. There are no known contraindications for Applied Kinesiology.

 

What can I expect during Applied Kinesiology?

The doctor will test various muscles throughout the body and may use an arm or leg muscle extensively as an indicator throughout the treatment program.

 

How will I feel after Applied Kinesiology?

There may be some muscle soreness from use. Most times people will feel an instant change in muscles that are tense, weak or painful.

 

How often will I need Applied Kinesiology?

Some aspect of Applied Kinesiology is used at every appointment. The number of proposed treatments will be reviewed with you at your Report of Findings (ROF) appointment.
