What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of Chinese medicine that utilizes small fine needles to stimulate the energy flow (called chi/qi) in the body. It has been utilized as a healing practice for thousands of years.

 

What is the purpose of Acupuncture?

The purpose of the treatment is to restore energy and balance into the body by needling specific points and locations in the body. The needles rarely hurt but some discomfort can occur with insertion.


We are excited to offer acupuncture in conjunction with the other therapies we offer at the clinic. Dr. Meaghan Kirschling is certified in acupuncture and it can be used to help with many issues including:
